Great things start small. I have
no doubt in that. I have seen men fight, kill and conquer nations. I have seen
women of power play on the fantasies of men and get men on their knees. I have
seen children become celebrities overnight. The legends of the great speak
mightily of their powers and valour. Cleopatra was nefariously charming, Athena
was a wise god, Nefertiti was a shinning black diamond. But the list didn’t
stop there
In the small town of Ogbaru was
blossomed a queen whose crown none other would be deemed it to wear centuries
to come. A very humbled beginning which included the hawking of drinks and food
items on the busy main roads. But her determination and resolve would not be
deterred. Despite the harshness of life, she would still utilize any available
opportunity to sneak into any fashion shop to learn a thing or another about
clothe sewing.
Her desire to learn got her an
admission into to study biochemistry.
However, her innermost calling and drive
towards self establishment and excellence couldn’t be stopped. Her holidays
were then spent in clothe sewing shops. In those shops she would listen, learn,
laugh and go on errands for those whom you wouldn’t even believe she could
associate with. Most university babes prefer otherwise. But she wouldn’t be
like the others because she is unique.
Out from the university she was
posted to Yobe state. Very far away from her father's residence, so she was
undeterred and served her fatherland under the rain and in the sun, with
dedication and selflessness.
A year later, she turned from
'corper' to gold and was out in the streets of Lagos in search of a white
collar job. She's well-endowed below (there's no hiding that) and men wanted to
feast, but she wasn't calling any party. I remember vividly she called me to
relay to me that she just got a job. A job that will pay her millions in years
to come. Those kind of chain-linking jobs with downlines and uplines. I
congratulated her but she knew I wasn’t all happy. She inquired and I told her
point blank to go and follow her desire.
she set out, gathered herself and
started her journey to self actualization. She pulled together her meagre
savings, borrowed from some friends and kicked off. A sewing machine, then two,
then three and the number kept rising. A student, then two, three, and now, she
selects who comes to learn. A staff, then two and now about four are under her
payroll.
I really don’t know how to
explain designs, so I suggest you see the rest for yourself.
