When one is about 90% sure that he is going to
be executed. As in, first a priest or pastor of his own chosen will be called
in. Then he comforts him and then prays for him. He assures him of heaven as
long as he has accepted Jesus. Then he is led out. Tied to a stick, blindfolded
and then he hears the military order: FIRE!!!!!!!
The distance between the bullet out from the
gun and its target could be filled with anything; tears, meanness, acceptance,
bitterness or an unimaginable feeling of pain and anger. I can only imagine.
But then the bullets finally hit the target,
driving deep into his head and chest in a bid to snuff out the breath in the
target. 2-10minutes after, the target is pronounced dead.
I have never handled a gun. I have never shot a
man. I have never been shot too. I pray we would never be on any side of the
gun. Amen.
Some crimes are really heinous and deserving of
grave punishment. Sometimes, we may even shout "DEATH TO HIM", DIE BY
FIRE". But however, some crimes are as a result of governmental failures.
3 Nigerians and one Indonesian. Look at their
nationalities and the state of their nations. Failed states. Governmental
negligence, siphonment and corruption.
Poor educational and health systems.
My executed brothers, Fare thee well. If you
were the sons and daughters of these corrupt and wicked politicians in your
countries, who wouldn't have ventured into lives of crimes (i.e. if you were
guilty as charged).
Yes, I understand your point Mr. HOLY INNOCENT. They were not the only
ones born in penury. Yes they weren't. But before you turn your face to a
'better issue other than that of these 'useless' criminals, ask yourself this
question: "IF THE TABLES WERE TO
TURN AROUND, WOULD YOU HAVE SURVIVED WHAT THEY SURVIVED???????!"
The salaries and allowances of our senators,
former senators, governors,ex-govs, presidents and their exes are leading the
younger generation into a life of crime.
STOP KILLING OUR
YOUTHS DIRECTLY AND INDIRECTLY
REST IN PEACE MY BROTHERS. I BELIEVE YOU GUYS
FOUND PEACE BEFORE THAT BULLET COVERED THE DISTANCE.
